Convert JSON to Code Instantly

Stop manually writing type definitions. JSONKit's JSON to Code tool automatically generates type-safe interfaces, structs, and classes for various programming languages including TypeScript, Go, Python, C#, and more. Just paste your JSON and get ready-to-use code instantly.

How to use

  1. Paste a representative JSON sample, such as a real API response, into the input editor.
  2. Choose the target language and enter a name for the root type.
  3. Click Generate.
  4. Copy the generated types or classes into your project.

Features

  • Generates code for TypeScript, Go, Python, C#, Rust, Swift, Java, C++ and Kotlin.
  • Infers nested types, arrays and optional fields from the sample.
  • Powered by quicktype, a widely used open-source type generator.
  • Saves time when integrating a new API or third-party data source.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate are the generated types?
Types are inferred from the sample you provide. If a field can be null or missing, include an example of that in the sample so the generator marks it as optional. Review the result just as you would hand-written code.
Is my JSON sent to a server?
Yes, this is the one JSONKit tool that uses a server: the sample is sent to generate the code and the result is returned immediately. The input is not logged or stored. Avoid pasting secrets; a sample with dummy values works just as well.
Should I use generated TypeScript interfaces for runtime validation?
Interfaces only exist at compile time. If you also need to validate data at runtime, combine them with a JSON Schema and the JSON Schema Validator, or a runtime validation library.
